Bring your dog out for a morning of Easter fun at Waggin’ Trail Dog Park! For a $5 donation your pup will receive a goodie bag and get to participate in a dog only Easter Egg Hunt. There will be prizes, pet vendors, and more. The small dog egg hunt will be at 11 am and the large dog hunt at 11:20 am. No children under the age of 5 allowed in designated dog area, all dogs must be accompanied by owner while inside the dog park.

Join Gladstone Animal Shelter and the Gladstone Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department for a 1 mile benefit walk. Proceeds will be used to help provide a better environment for those animals visiting the Gladstone Shelter and to assist in the treatment of ailing animals so they may become adoptable.

Kids and K9s Summer Camp

This fun and fact filled camp will provide the science of animal behavior, along with the application of training a social dog. This is the perfect summer camp for kids from 11 - 14 years of age who love dogs and would like to understand more about how to teach them to do fun and functional behaviors. The camp is taught by professional dog trainers with a 4-to-1 camper to instructor ratio. This camp may be eligible for Homeschool science credit.

NEW: Kids and K9s Sports Summer Camp

This camp is for teenagers from about 14 - 17 years of age. In this camp, we’ll explore 4 dog sports: Agility, Dog Parkour, K9 Nose Work®, and Tricks. In addition, campers and their personal dogs will learn more about dog safety and the basics of training. They may even go home with a Trick Title or two. The camp is taught by professional dog trainers with a 4-to-1 camper to instructor ratio. This camp may be eligible for Homeschooling PE credit.

Who let the DOGS out?  Join more than 3,000 dogs and dog lovers for a doggone good time at the Kemper Outdoor Education Center!  Explore more than 75 booths featuring everything from pet photos and pet supplies to pet sitters and rescue.  Take part in contests like Best Trick, Best Kisser, Best Tail-wagger, Best Biscuit Eater, Dog/Owner Look-alikes, and the always-popular Halloween Costume Contest!  Participate in Gunny Sack Races, Bobbing for Biscuits, Musical Discs and more! It's FUN for your dogs... FUN for their pets (that would be YOU!)... and FUN FOR ALL!

Ring in the holidays with us! We've invited local pet related artists, makers, and bakers to share their creations. Join us for our third annual holiday mart celebrating our love of pets. The event will be held Small Business Saturday, November 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. here at The Dogs' Spot. Santa will be on hand to take photos with your dogs (and possibly other pets with pre-arrangement).
