Training has been shown to strengthen the bond between dogs and their family members, reducing the likelihood the dog will be rehomed. This helps with patient retention.
Dogs with training are often easier to examine, making it less stressful for patients and safer for staff.
You can be assured the families you refer will receive the best, most up-to-date dog training. Our staff regularly continue their education in the field of canine cognition, training and behavior to stay abreast of the latest research and its applications. As a result, we utilize positive reinforcement methods and tools that are highly effective and have been shown to provide the best welfare for dogs and their families.
We offer a veterinary referral program that will provide your practice with professional produced cards to give your clients and place in your puppy packets. These cards will provide information on our training programs along with a discount that is good for patients and staff, alike!

SPECIALTIES
We specialize in puppy socialization, helping navigate adolescence, and training adult manners with the goal of helping dog be comfortable, confident, and sociable. We also have staff who specialize in helping families with reactive dogs as well as a wide range of fun activities like Agility, K9 Nose Work®, Tricks, Flyball, and more!
FACILITY FACTS
The Dogs’ Spot has been serving the community since 2006 and is conveniently located in North Kansas City just off I-29/I-35. The 17,000 sq. ft. facility is clean and sanitized, climate controlled, and utilizes special agility matting in all the classrooms.

Once we receive your submission, we will assign a unique code for your practice and have 100 professionally produced Veterinary Referral Program cards printed and delivered within approximately 2 weeks.

In the mean time, you’re welcome to provide your clients and staff with your practice’s code to obtain a discount on our group classes and private training services.
