Calling all teens who love to play with their dogs
Kids and K9s Sports Camp is a great opportunity to have fun exploring four different dog sports while applying animal training concepts. During this camp we’ll cover:
Dog safety and body language
The basics of training (luring, capturing, shaping behaviors)
Tricks (and may even earn a Trick Title or two)
Agility
K9 Nose Work®
Dog Parkour
May be eligible for Homeschooling PE Credit
Kids and K9s Sports Camp will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the week of Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 20. The program was developed and will be led by professional dog trainers with a 4-to-1 camper-to-instructor ratio. It is designed for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 16, with a maximum of 8 participants along with their dogs.
All activities will be held at The Dogs’ Spot - Dog Training Center, located at 1701 Iron St, North Kansas City, MO.

Dogs get to go to Summer Camp, too!
Campers can bring their dogs to participate with them. To ensure all dogs are good candidates for day camp, campers will need to visit the facility with their dogs during a prearranged day and time. During this visit we'll determine and if any special accommodation will be necessary to help their dogs feel comfortable. If it is deemed that a dog is not a good fit, we'll discuss other options at that time.
If you don’t have a dog, you may still be able to join us and participate with a Dogs’ Spot staff member’s dog. Just let us know when you apply so we can make the proper arrangements.
